RE: ACTION AGAINST AGENTs/DEVELOPMENT OFFICERS FOR FALSE MESSAGE IN SOCIAL MEDIA

Of late, it has come to our notice that a number of false/fabricated/factually incorrect messages are being circulated in the social media like WhatsApp and Facebook by some of our Agents/Development Officers. A few such messages are appended below for your information. These messages are posted with LIC logo which is totally in contravention to the rules on the use of our logo issued by the Corporation from time to time. In view of the above, you are requested to closely monitor and issue suitable caution/warning to all to avoid any such posting/sharing/circulating of messages in any social media platform. In case of any violation, you are requested to take action immediately as per relevant provisions of the regulations and inform us the same. Kindly bring this to the notice of all concerned.
