Hope all of you are keeping well during the current phase of lockdown. We sincerely request you all, to strictly follow all the safety measures and guidelines of the Government as well as local administration.

We have already taken up the issue with the Chairman, LIC, for granting further relaxations on circular dated 21/4/2020 with regards to disincentives on our work norms and also on relaxation granted on Club membership of agents vide circular dated 28/4/2020. 

IRDA has recommended for allowing Insurance companies to avail Aadhaar Authentication Services of the Unique Identification Authority of India to facilitate general public to easily fulfill Know Your Customer (KYC) norms while availing insurance services.  29 Life, General and Health Insurance Companies are allowed by IRDA to allow customer / Policyholder / Claimants to avail paperless KYC services. NFIFWI has demanded that the facility is also to be extended to LIC customers, to avail paperless KYC services. We also demanded the management to allow D.O’s and Agents to work from home by facilitating online completion of proposals, Premium point (Life Plus offices) to all confirmed D.O’s.
