16-06-2020-Need for reviewing all existing norms for Dev Officers in the backdrop of COVID-19

Dear Comrades,

NFIFWI from time to time, after the pandemic Covid-19 had submitted various issues concerning the class to the management for relaxations, as the Development Officers are adversely affected by the lockdown due to Covid-19. As the management has given relaxations on some issues, we are of the view that to address the concerns of the class of Development Officers urgent relaxations are required on some of the important issues, which are genuine in nature, and affected due to the unprecedented situation in the entire country and beyond the control of the Development Officers. 

Today (16-06-2020) we have once again given a consolidated representation to the management on all the issues for favourable consideration and immediate relief. The representation is attached herewith for your information. 

We sincerely thank Com.Sumit Baran Ray, Z.S, East Zone for having consolidated the suggestions/feedback sent by the members from the entire country, on issues to be taken up with the management for various reliefs and relaxations.

We are also pursuing the pending issues, as already informed in the FCM report and are hopeful that the management will consider the issues sympathetically. The cost free maternity leave to women Development Officers is a great injustice and the matter is taken up to give appropriate relief immediately.
