Terminal benefits to the widow/registered nominee of our deceased Comrades

Dear Comrades,

You all are aware that since outbreak of novel corona virus in our country, we have lost our so many members due to COVID-19 or some other ailments. Ongoing through the details of payments of terminal benefits to the widow/registered nominee of our deceased comrades, it has come to our notice that in some cases income tax has been deducted on the lumpsum payments in lieu of leave encashments and other dues violating the circular provision due to lack of knowledge/misinterpretation of CO circular. 

We therefore request you to keep a close eye on all such payments and raised objections in case income tax has been deducted on such terminal payments.
