ALL CIRCULAR-24 HOURS GROUP PERSONAL ACCIDENT POLICY-27-05-2021

Dear Comrades, 

For all employees in Life Insurance Corporation of India, The facility of 24 HOURS GROUP PERSONAL ACCIDENT policy has been provided by the Corporation. Its entire premium corporation does it there itself.

Before 2014, there was a risk coverage of 5 lakhs only, which is currently increased to 50 lakhs risk cover for the Development Officer cadre and Its entire premium is borne by corporation itself.

In the last 5 years including current year, more than 30 development officers died due to accident.

We have requested many times to our Zonal and Divisional Secretaries to send us the full details of the claims settled or still pending and We have received these details by some of our divisional secretaries, in which We have also received the details of the pending claim and consequently We have forwarded all those pending claim forms to the Central Office and after a regular pursuance payment of three of the cases is ensured till date.

In this reference, We are again sending all the circulars, and claim forms to you.

All the Zonal Secretary and Divisional Secretary are requested to go through these and if there is any such pending case exist in your division then send the entire completely filled claim forms with all required enclosures to your Divisional OS Department of and get the acknowledge receipt. 

And, in this reference, giving complete information (complete details of claim form submission) of such pending case of your zone or division, do send a letter to RM and the manager of the Division's OS Department with a copy to SG. 

After death of any of our member, ensuring the complete settlement of all the payments pertaining to him by the organization comes under the charitable discharge of the organizational duties. this is also mentioned in writing In the preamble of our constitution. 

Once again, all the Zonal Secretary and Divisional Secretary are requested to send us the details of such payments either paid or pending, of 24 HOURS GROUP PERSONAL ACCIDENT POLICY of all those comrades of your zone and division who have died due to accident.
