Secretary General

Com.Anand V.Tyagi born on 4th October 1948 at the village Seerkee ,Sharanpur of Uttar Pradesh. Belongs to farmer's family his parents admitted him at the tender age of 3 1/2 years into famous "Gurukul Kangari" of Haridwar which is famous for vedic education. He was awarded the title of "Vidya Bhaskar" at gurkul,did his gruaduation in Science and while he was doing his post gruaduation he joined in LIC of India as agent, in the year 1967. In 1971 at the age of 23 years Shri Tyagi bceame the Development Officer. Shri S.W.Kalwit used to refer him as "youngest child in the family of National Federation", joined the federation 1975 during the time of Emergency. Served in various post from Branch Secretary to All India President of this mighty organisation. We list some of his achivements and positon he has held. 1985- Zonal Sec. of Central Zone(Combined M.P. & U.P.) organised Zonal Meet in a very shortest time and NEC Meet of Dehradhun in 1989 which still lingers sweetly in the minds of members. He is the bridge between the old guards and the new generation of federation, worked with Leaders like S.W.Kalwit, Sarva Shri.Sadhana, G.V.S.Mani, Madu Dandavate, V.V.Apte, V.N.Kapoor, Kanitkar, Aravindakshan, H.C.Shagal, Sushil Chakraborthy K.B.Srinivasamoorthy. He worked as All India President for 4 years with Shri.K.Chandrasekaran for three terms. He appeared before the Narasimhan Committee on lapsation matter consitituted by Financial Parliamentry Committee. He encountered succussefully the issue related on IB with CBDT for Income Tax exemption. Widely travelled Com. Tyagi attends all the important meetings of NF at Zonal/Divisonal levels. Since 1987,he is in the negotiation committee on the apart of NF with Yogakshema. He currently serves as the Member of IRDA Advisory Committee.He was elected as Secretary General in the year 1998 at the Ernakulam Federal Council. Again he got re-elected in the year 2002 & 2004 at the Patna and Pune Federal Councils respectively.He remained in office till 18th March 2007 when he tendered his resignation as Secretary General.
